Time-zone scheduling

Overview

Parallel addresses a common challenge for globally distributed teams: scheduling meetings across multiple time zones without repeatedly burdening the same people with early-morning or late-night calls. As remote collaboration becomes more widespread, teams often struggle to find meeting times that feel fair for everyone involved.

Rather than searching for a “perfect” time—which rarely exists—Parallel introduces a fairness-based approach that intentionally rotates meeting inconvenience across team members over time. By visualizing time-zone differences and distributing scheduling adjustments more evenly, the platform helps teams coordinate more transparently and respectfully.

The project explores how thoughtful product design can transform scheduling from a frustrating logistical task into a fairer, more collaborative experience for global teams.
